I am Simon Williamson, a political science Ph.D candidate at the University of Georgia, whose research interests include both institutions and behavior in American politics, and how they intersect. More specifically, I am interested in the ability of citizens to monitor the activities of their representatives.
While those are my specific research interests, I find very little uninteresting in political science. When not working on increasing the world’s knowledge I can be found trying to make my son enjoy soccer (which I am sure he will, as soon as he can walk), and am in the midst of a now three-year project teaching the dog not to explode when someone rings the doorbell.
Please feel free to view my About Me, Research or Teaching pages for more information about my background and my work.
